Job Vacancy Announcement: Translator

The Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Baku is looking to hire a motivated university graduate as Translator.  

Position: Translator

Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate documents and communications between Azeri, Turkish, Russian, and English (both directions) as instructed.

• Monitor and report on Azeri news in English.

• Assist with preparing content for the Embassy’s social media platforms in English and local languages.

Requirements:

• Education: University degree or equivalent.

• Languages: Fluency in Azeri, Turkish, Russian, and English (spoken and written).

• Technical Skills:

o Proficient in using computers and the Windows operating system.

o Strong typing skills.

o Familiarity with social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and ability to create and manage posts.

• Personal Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
